About

Dr. Sharon Gertzman, Medical Director, is a family physician whose practice concentrates on medical aesthetics, acupuncture and skin care. She is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery.

A skilled practitioner in laser cosmetics, Dr. Gertzman is passionate in her approach to helping patients achieve a healthy sense of well being. She welcomes your inquiries into the many modalities she has available to help enhance your appearance and improve your self-image.

Well-versed in her field, she followed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, with medical training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Gertzman continued on with her training in laser surgery, radio frequency surgery and injectable implants with some of the top specialists in these fields.

Lauren Perella graduated in 2001 from the Rizzieri Aveda School for Beauty and Wellness with a degree in Aesthetics. Upon graduating, Lauren attended an aesthetics program in Baden, Germany. There she expanded her skin care skills and acquired a European approach to skin care and facial massage. Lauren has also furthered her education by receiving certification in several fields, including: Chinese diagnosis of the skin, and the art of mineral make-up by Colorescience. Lauren has also had training with several different skin care and make-up lines through her experience working at different style spas which include: The Spa at the Waldorff Astoria in Manhattan, and Bluemercury in Princeton, NJ.

Lauren is very happy and excited to be a part of Dr. Gertzman's practice at the Serenity Medical Spa. The Serenity Medical Spa gives her the tools to better every client's skin care treatments and daily routines, so that they can obtain healthy and beautiful skin. By working at The Serenity Medical Spa, Lauren hopes to further her education in skin care and help improve the quality of her clients skin from the inside out.
