WIth age, our bodies produce less collagen and elastin. Twenty-year-olds have each in abundance, which gives them that dewy look, but when the supply is limited, we look visibly older.

Can I look younger without investing too much time?

Dr. Gertzman focuses on acquiring anti-aging treatments that work quickly, so you’re not stuck waiting weeks and months for results. Treatments are either noninvasive or minimally invasive, take an hour or less to complete, and are painless. 

Injectables

We offer both neurotoxin injectables and dermal fillers. BotoxⓇ, made from a weakened form of the botulinum toxin, is the injectable that started it all. We also offer DysportⓇ and XeominⓇ. 

The neurotoxins inhibit the release of chemicals in your body that make your facial muscles contract when you make expressions. Injectables are especially good for crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead creases. Treatment effects last between three and six months typically.  

We also offer dermal fillers, including JuvédermⓇXC, Sculptra™, RestylaneⓇ, RestylaneⓇ Lyft, RestylaneⓇ Silk, and RadiesseⓇ. They work by plumping up skin folds and adding overall volume. Different ingredients and different gel-like viscosities are used in these treatments. Fillers last anywhere from six months to two years.

Microdermabrasion

Another treatment that softens lines, eliminates age spots, sun damage, and even enlarged pores and acne scars is microdermabrasion. You generally get a series of four to six treatments, depending on your goals, but results are obvious immediately. 

Treatment involves gently massaging and exfoliating your skin to remove the top layer. This increases blood flow and fuels collagen production and cell renewal. 

Intense Pulsed Light Treatment (IPL)

IPL treatments address sun damage like freckling and other discoloration, rosacea symptoms, small pigmented lesions, and roughness. Dr. Gertzman uses a handpiece to deliver the painless light pulses to your treatment area, which remove the sun-damaged layers of your skin. 

Discoloration is removed, and though you get a series of treatments whose results emerge over months, you see better skin tone and smoothness starting after just days.  

Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is an easy-to-tolerate, in-office eyelid lift radiofrequency procedure. Dr. Gerzman removes surplus skin above and below your eye using radio waves rather than a scalpel to make incisions, better preserving your surrounding skin. Scarring risk is reduced. After just a week, you see fresher eyes. 

Vivace Microneedling

Vivace™ treatments augment standard microneedling — a comfortable but targeted procedure during which your skin is punctured by tiny sterile needles to stimulate collagen production — by employing radiofrequency (RF) technology that’s delivered through the needles.

Vivace helps banish crepey skin, improves tone and texture, softens fine lines and wrinkles, and minimizes acne scarring. Results are visible after your first session.
